Today I made black bean burgers for Caroline, Wesley & I. They were a little spicy, had lots of fresh basil & green onion. After finishing mine I told Caroline that I thought they were too spicy for Wesley (who was still napping), so I thought I'd eat his mini burger for him. Where did you find this quote? I didn't know that my Great Grandmother was a poet.
This quote is on the 2nd page of Christina Higginson's life story that appears to be in her handwriting. You gave me a copy...do you still have a copy? If not I'll copy what I've got. I think it was Christina's grandmother that wrote this verse, but the uncle Robert I could find was Christina's son, so maybe she did write it.
