Brimfield

On Friday, I woke up and decided to go to the Brimfield Antique ShowI picked up first-timer, Allison, and we hustled west while the kids were in school. Brimfield is great fun... one of my all-time favorite things about MA. My friend, Lee calls it her Disneyland, and it really is a blast. Every time I go I think of my mom and how she used to scour the Rose Bowl Flea Market for deals like the hutch with a zinc surface that's now in my dining room. I think how fun it would be to bring my sisters & Ama to Brimfield. I've loved going with my friends who dig this kind of thing too....discovering old treasures, blasts from the past, typography, the quirky stuff, vintage clothing, toys, etc.   Take a peek...

Would you like a doll head with your mixing bowl?
These bowls are awesome!  I may pick one up next time.
This eagle was SEVENTEEN HUNDRED dollars.
Can you see the hippo head on the side of the truck?

The quirky things add to the fun of Brimfield.
These children's size folding chairs were immaculate.
This baby came home with me.  SCORE!

I {heart} Brimfield.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that place. Love it!
I told Rachael that next year we need to do a big girls trip. She's never been either. It's a MUST DO if you live in MA and enjoy antiques.
Glad you found a treasure!

Looks like a great place! Those bowls remind me of some of my grandma's and my mom's. I love them!

I can't wait to see what you do with the ginormous "M."
