I was just reading this blog (part XXI) the other day and had a good laugh when Ree described her horror of having the contents of her purse spill out in front of her hubby-to-be & brother-in-law-to-be. I don't read romance novels, but I loved reading this blog, and the photography for her regular blog is great.
Back to purse dumping....after dumping out the contents of her awesome EB bag, Ellen tagged me to dump out mine...so here goes...
My purse is a Vera Bradley pink number;) After going through many black purses, this pink one made me smile. In this pink beauty, I've got a diaper, baby wipes (for Wesley, not me), my gotta do notebook (inspired by Ellen & frequently contributed to by our budding artist, Caroline), a CPK menu I snagged while out with Christina last weekend (I didn't know we had one close by!), Jan. visiting teaching message (GOTTA DO!), my GPS (thanks, Wayne), lip gloss (Burt's Bees is my absolute favorite), keys to 'Ol Betty, our T&C minivan w/ 188K+ miles and still humming/squeaking, my cell phone, my wallet that can't seem to keep more than $20 in it at any given time:), my coin purse that carries Motrin, and my black book of contacts...Yes, honey, I realize I could seriously condense this stash if I had an iPhone!

I really was going to clean out my purse today, but I won't just so everyone can get a great laugh at my maverick contents--how embarrassing. You are squeaky clean, but I know you just cleaned that thing out before you got tagged! What a funny concept...purse dumping tagging! Did you get that blog link from Lacey, Marla's friend? I go there sometimes too and check it out..how funny.
I admit sparing the world a handful of receipts, but thankfully this tag didn't hit last week before I cleaned it out. Too bad Ama doesn't have a blog. My girls love rummaging through her purse, it's much more fun than my boring bag:).
I was thinking McGyver--not Maverick! Funny that I said that--don't even know what maverick is! I'll blame it on being pregnant so many times and all the lost brain cells!
