Caroline was sleepy all through scripture reading tonight. When we were done, Wayne stood her up to go to bed and she literally fell asleep standing up. Such talent, such poise, and such peace! Apparently Caroline inherited the gene for falling asleep anytime, anywhere from her daddy. It cracks me up. I actually moved her hair so you could see her sleepy eyes & she didn't flinch.She's all set for bed with Wesley's blanket (she's too tired to realize it's not her favorite blanket, the triangle blanket) and her favorite kitten, Mango. The dress is a princess dress I made for Christina for Halloween '99 and Caroline would live in it if I let her even though it barely fits anymore.

Yep - just like her dad. We could even get Wayne to walk, well more like stumble/walk, when he was asleep (it was usually when we got him up to go to the bathroom - one last time before we went to bed. His father usually did this, since he was the late night owl and I'd been out for several hours already.)
I see Caroline favors her finger like Izzie does hers - they are so precious!
Too cute!! I always get a laugh out of pictures of Brett sleeping in random places as a kid. Unfortunately my kids inherited my genes of NOT being able to get to sleep.
You know, there are times when I feel I could fall asleep standing up too...Bravo for Caroline for making it happen! :)
How funny! I swear I never believe that someone could fall asleep standing up like that, except that I saw it first hand in Orlando! She is so precious. Mattie misses your girls so much. She is always saying she wants to go to Disney with her cousins. We'll have to come up for a visit soon.
