"We'd be lost without you."

The flower people really could improve business by marketing the "We'd be lost without you" bouquet such as the one that arrived at my doorstep today.  I think this bouquet meant more to me than all of the flowers I've been given on Mother's Day, my birthdays, and our anniversaries because while those are very appreciated and really just as beautiful, the "We'd be lost without you" bouquet came completely unexpected and out of the blue.
It was a baseball hat day (no shower yet)... I'm up to my eyeballs in laundry, made un-fun insurance calls, cleaned spills, wiped tears & messy faces, hands & bums, carpooled, calendered, changed diapers, put dinner in the slow cooker, tutored, cleaned, cleaned & cleaned some more....and then along came this gorgeous bouquet of flowers with the card saying, "We'd be lost without you."  In the middle of this crazy day in my crazy life, I'm smitten.   And for the record, I'd be lost without my sweetheart too.  After 13+ years of marriage he can still give me butterflies, make me weak in the knees, and feel the opposite of lost---found.

What a sweet thing for Wayne to do! I love when its the unexpected. About 2 months ago Matt came home from a trip with a dozen roses and my favorite chocolates! Sometimes those Menzie boys just get it soooo right!

My boys are so darn special! I'm proud that they realize it's the unexpected sweet thoughtful kindnesses that really go A LONG way making your sweetheart know how much you appreciate her. Keep up the good work - remember try to be the first one every morning to say, "I love you" - it sets the stage for the rest of the day. (and eternity)

Sweet! Though I'm way tired hearing all that you go through in a day, they definitely would be lost without you!

I was reading over the comments and realized it sounded like I said I'm tired OF hearing what you go through in a day...I meant just thinking of doing all of that wears me out! Hopefully you knew what I meant ;)
