Kids can be challenging to photograph, esp. when they are jumping around in leaves. It's hard to get focused on the chubby cheeks and the smile capturing the joy of carefree childhood days. So, as I uploaded my photos, I was happy to find this one....Our Mr. Nicely. I love that he has no interest in the camera; it's play time. Mr. Nicely- This was Caroline's way of saying "Wesley" when Wesley was first born. It fits, unless of course you've got food that he wants or you're not feeding him fast enough. We must be pretty good at meeting his needs because he's far from starving.
Oh, Mr. Nicely, we love you so!

My kids seriously don't remember what it's like to roll in the leaves! We need to make it out east or at least up north where it looks like fall sometime soon! So fun...love Caroline's nickname for Wes.
Yum, crunchy. Wes needs to give my kids (mainly Jonas) a lesson in not being picky eaters...minus the leaf eating.
All of those wonderful leaves to play in! It looks like Wes had lots of fun with Grace and Thomas. And, I have heard him yell at Grace for her food!
Mr. Nicely. We would have also accepted Mr. Yummy or Mr. Snuggley. Those pictures are really delightful.

I love the smell and crunch of romping in the leaves. Yesterday we drove down a leaf covered street and I drove slow so I could hear the crunch of the leaves and have a flood of childhood memories fill my head. Great photos!

cute kid!!! Don't you just love when a picture turns out cute...what did we EVER do with film???? It was always such a surprise to see if ANY pictures worked out...a christmas present when it did & a horrible feeling when it didn't. I LOVE digital!
