Truly a banner day for Thomas and Wayne. Thomas had a great time playing in his first Turkey Bowl along side his dad. He reported that he "ran the wrong way trying to score, but everyone told me to run the other way." He loved the donuts at the end of the game too! Wayne had 5 interceptions, scored 3 TD's, and earned a bruised rib. He has great memories of playing Turkey Bowls with his brothers and friends, and now Thomas will be woven into the Turkey Bowl lore as well. Banner Day, indeed.

I bet that was super exciting for Thomas, and a proud moment for Wayne! I know that Matt can't wait to play football with our kids one day.
It's good to see Bo Jackson get out there and play on Thanksgiving.
How fun for those two. Considering the bleeding gash that Pie recently suffered, Sid will not be joinging the big boys out here for a while. Sounds like your crew is more civilized.
Was the game before the turkey or after? Did Wayne and Thomas' team win?
Game was at 8:00 AM, while the ground was still frozen in most spots. We won both games. :)
