I was just going to say how I LOVE Wes's face in this picture and it looks like someone else noticed that too. Food fights/flour fights are too much fun. I could care less about a mess like that when the memories made are much longer lasting than the clean up time. I had a huge flour/food fight on my mission with our district. It was loads of fun. I might have to help Mia "start" one. Okay, maybe in a couple years.
This is a classic Wesley expression. He makes this face when he wants food NOW. Here I was telling the kids to say "Cheese." I was fine with the mess. Clean up was fast, and this photo will always crack me up.
Wow, your good to be fine with the mess. I guess I would be okay if it was a good day, but hit me on a bad day and I may have to leave the room for a deep breath! Hey, I went private so send me your email and I can add you!
So not fair! Somehow you got the cute picture out of such a "tiny" mess. I am jealous. My monkeys make HUGE messes. 3 kids close in age are the best. Sometimes I am jealous of my 3 middle kids--with only 2 1/2 years between them. Definitely fun.
jk...the only reason the mess was somewhat contained was because I was just a few feet away making dinner. It was the end of the day, baths & kitchen clean up were going to happen anyway, & there was only about a cup of flour to work with so I let them play. If I wasn't right there I'm sure this picture would have looked far messier. It never ceases to amaze me the things that our kids find entertaining that cost hardly a dime.
The Patton kids did a similar thing many moons ago. And I also remember a baseball game with saltine crackers in the kitchen which produced quite a mess!
I used to bring some of my friends into our storage room in the basement and we would play in the flour...and then put the lid back on and my mom never knew! GROSS!!
Love the outfits...they look similar to what I see around my house each day!! (one of the fights I decided to give up!)

Today I made black bean burgers for Caroline, Wesley & I. They were a little spicy, had lots of fresh basil & green onion. After finishing mine I told Caroline that I thought they were too spicy for Wesley (who was still napping), so I thought I'd eat his mini burger for him. Caroline replied, "Why don't you eat them all." Point taken:) -4/6/09

Oh I see what you mean! Crazy little kids. I love Wesley's face in that picture!
MEGA Trouble! How funny! Heather's right--Wesley's expression is CLASSIC!

Looks like way too much fun!!!

They look like they need to be on a cooking show. ;)
Ha! Sherry, I was just thinking how short their career on Martha Stewart would be. It WOULD be unforgettable though!
It is a way cute, way cool nutty bunch you have. The messes are a pain to clean up, but aren't you glad to have them!

That is HILARIOUS!! They are all CUTE but Wesley ... he takes the CAKE... :) (or the flour at least....)
You are such a great mom Becky.... Do you know how much I miss you???
Resembles a mess we so often see at our house! Having helpers is so much better too!

Wesley is going to get blamed for a lot of things - poor little innocent guy! Somehow I think he's going to be able to hold his own with the gang.
I'm glad they didn't add water to the mixture.
