We had such a great time last night visiting with Lena. We haven't seen her in a long time, and it was so great catching up on her life. She's an AMAZING, beautiful, intelligent young lady. She's been in a wheelchair since late '06 after she and her mom were in a fatal car accident. Her mom died & Lena suffered a severe spinal cord injury. Since then Lena has competed in 2 marathons, picked up playing basketball again, taken classes at the University of Utah and is now transferring to Stanford in the fall. Rock on!
PS...We started celebrating Grace & Caroline's birthdays early (on Saturday), continued on Sunday, & have more celebrating up our sleeves...more on our twinners (2 years apart) soon.

I'm amazed that Grace & Caroline are 7 & 5 now! Happy Birthday. That picture is priceless of the two of them.

What an adorable picture of the two girls -- I'm all about birthday weeks. One day just isn't enough!
Lena is truly an amazing gal! We saw her do the SL Marathon here a couple of years ago. How fun that you could see her!
