A lesson in recall. The army crawl moves from crawling days come in handy here. If you listen closely you can hear him say, "Weeeee" as he's sliding.

Today I made black bean burgers for Caroline, Wesley & I. They were a little spicy, had lots of fresh basil & green onion. After finishing mine I told Caroline that I thought they were too spicy for Wesley (who was still napping), so I thought I'd eat his mini burger for him. Caroline replied, "Why don't you eat them all." Point taken:) -4/6/09
During the closing hymn of the Sunday afternoon session of General Conference, Grace said, "I miss President Monson already." -4/5/09
Mom, we're starting to learn about magnets in science now. We'll be creating magnets and we'll have lots of hands on experiment time. I love hands on; it's so much better than hands off! -Thomas 3/23/09

Mom: What are you girls doing?
Caroline: We're playing barber shop!

LOVE IT!!!! Abernethy's were telling me about him doing this. So glad you have video of it, he's GOOD at that army crawl.
I heard he didn't want to stop. EVER.
that is SO cute! I bet he loved it lol.
It's true he could have kept going and going. He got to a point where he was so cold and shivering, so Wayne took him kicking and screaming to give him a warm shower and get him warmed up. You could hear Wes' despleasure as he screamed through the entire shower. He was NOT happy that slip 'n slide had to come to an end:)
The other thing he did was cut in line. As soon as he slid to the bottom of the slide he would march back up to the top of the slide. When we broke the news that he'd have to wait in line, he didn't like that. Wayne would hold him as he cried in line, stopped crying once it was his turn, slid down the slide, and then cried in line again. Poor Wesley. We all just thought he was hilarious.
I cannot believe how much he has changed in the past year! He is so big and I can't wait to see him next week!
