My little gardening buddy, Caroline was up bright and early with me this morning puttering around outside. I love working with her in the garden. We have a few bald spots on our lawn, and Caroline carefully spread grass seeds and watered them. We did a little weeding, planted another hydrangea, and cleaned up the herb garden. The nasturtium is brilliant! I love how it spills over. In the center container, there is arugula surrounded by purple pansies. The arugula is one of my favorite new garden attempts this year. I'm excited to throw it in chicken Caesar salad.

Your flowers are beautiful! I was just telling Pie that next year (too late for this year) I am really interested in building some raised garden beds and growing vegetables. I need a whole year to be ready, and plan out just what I need. We have summer thunderstorms here complete with evil hail storms so I am trying to figure out how to plan for that.
That looks so great! I love it
I could use a green thumb helper!
What a sweet little helper you have! I love gardens, I just don't love doing garden work! But, Mattie loves to help my mom when she does garden work.
Can I hire Caroline to come do my yard??? It could use some pretty flowers:)
Beautiful color and beautiful daughter! I just read about your temple sharing time. What a treat the kids have to have you!
I LOVE nasturtiums, they are so easy to grow and so pretty! Last year I grew a bunch in several places, this year I only did one tiny pot and I wish I did more. I love your pics, especially the one of Caroline.
