Twilight (Twilight Series, Book 1) Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

My review

rating: 4 of 5 stars
Well I finally picked up Twilight and purposefully didn't keep track of time while I tore through it the past couple nights. It's an easy, addictive read. The romance was thick, but squeaky clean...my kind of novel. There was plenty of intense action and a few questions raised to keep you thinking. I'll be heading over the the library to pick up the sequel today. I'm hooked.

I'm always on the watch for a good book. I'll have to check it out. A few years ago my BFF Kelly got me hooked on the Mitford series books. Have you read them? For the sake of this comment, I'll assume you haven't....
Jan Karon writes the series, I think there are 9 books. They are so charming. Mitford is a small town that is full of characters. The books follow Father Tim, and I guarantee you only a grinch wouldn't be instantly in love with him. These books are like snuggling up in a comfy chair with some milk and cookies. They are my favorite bed time books. I got my mom nd my grandma hooked on them too. www.mitfordbooks.com

I've heard from several sources that the Twilight Series is a must-read ...even for the non-vampire fans. Isn't that the basis of it? It's on my list. How SAD that I have to schedule in something like that--pleasure reading! Thanks for the recommendation!

I'm glad that you were able to get around to reading the trilogy. I love the books, they are very good. The first movie comes out this December. So far I liked the first book the best, the other two are good, but a little slow in the beginning. The fourth book comes out this summer!
