It may not be about the fish. . .

. . . but it's nice to catch one every once in a while.

Thomas and I went fishing last Saturday morning and he had a blast landing his first fish (a bluegill).

Today I made black bean burgers for Caroline, Wesley & I. They were a little spicy, had lots of fresh basil & green onion. After finishing mine I told Caroline that I thought they were too spicy for Wesley (who was still napping), so I thought I'd eat his mini burger for him. Caroline replied, "Why don't you eat them all." Point taken:) -4/6/09

During the closing hymn of the Sunday afternoon session of General Conference, Grace said, "I miss President Monson already." -4/5/09

Mom, we're starting to learn about magnets in science now. We'll be creating magnets and we'll have lots of hands on experiment time. I love hands on; it's so much better than hands off! -Thomas 3/23/09
