Creative Valentines

I wish I found these creative valentine ideas a few days ago BEFORE I picked up a box of pencils and store bought valentines from Wal-mart. Yes, they were 2.50, but next year I'm thinking outside the box.  I love all of these inexpensive, kid-can-do ideas....

Happy valentines creating!

One idea we did a few years back, and we will do it again, is we decorated lunch sacks and put our names on them. I left a bowl of paper hearts in the kitchen table and everyday you were to write everyone in the family something nice about them and leave it in their Valentines bag which you can pin on the kitchen wall, tie to their chair at the table, etc. On Valentines day you come together as a family and read your Valentines. We were all set to do this last week and then the stomach flu hit and now we are leaving Friday for Palm Springs, so we'll do it next year.

I love the photo card! I'll have to remember this one for when Mattie starts school. Also love the lunch bag idea! What a fun thing to do as a family.
