Today I made black bean burgers for Caroline, Wesley & I. They were a little spicy, had lots of fresh basil & green onion. After finishing mine I told Caroline that I thought they were too spicy for Wesley (who was still napping), so I thought I'd eat his mini burger for him. Caroline replied, "Why don't you eat them all." Point taken:) -4/6/09

This sure captures him discovering his shadow. Very cute and special mommy, son moment.
I am a delinquent blogger. I loved reading about your trip to Palmyra, et al. Although I confess, I had no idea how close you were and had to quickly sneak a look at my feedjit map. How wonderful that you could go when it was quiet and empty. I would enjoy it much more that way as well. I have been to the sacred grove twice, once being during a performance of the pageant (we did not attend, obviously) and that was so quiet and peaceful. Pie keeps wanting us to go to Nauvoo, but it is more than a day's drive for us each way and I want to enjoy it :)
Even though we are moving to the wee house, we are still hoping you will stay with us on your next trip out west--it will be soooo cooozy!
