Primary Idol

Our primary recently had a terrific quarterly activity...Primary Idol. They had the American Idol theme music playing as they introduced Aaron "Seacrest" our host and all of the amazing primary children who were there to share a talent in front of their friends and family. First, Sis. H. told the parable of the talents found in Matthew 25. She invited the children to share there talents... we heard original piano composition, a mini harp, a trumpet, dog info, knock-knock jokes, and we saw tree climbing (1 handed!), artwork, gymnastics, hopscotch, etc. We have some great budding talent! Here's what our 3 primary kids shared....

Another huge plus about this activity was that it cost nearly nothing. It honestly ended up being one of the best QA's...everyone had a ball.

What an awesome idea! Is that basically a pic of your whole primary?

That's probably 1/2 of our primary on the stage. There were some absentees and a few shy kiddos missing.

Okay, who is that man in the bottom picture? I totally know him, but I can't think of his name. It's killing me! What a fun activity, though. And bonus that it was cheap!

That sounds like it was a super fun Primary Activity! I bet all the kiddos did a great job. Mattie sang a solo at the Jarvis' youngest son's baptism on Saturday! I was impressed that she actually went through with it!
